The following horses have received a re-handicap in the City of Auckland Cup, due to be run at Ellerslie on 1 January 2019:

 

Rock On +0.5kg (now 53.5kg) for winning the Group 3 Manawatu Cup on 22 December 2018.

 

Glory Days +1kg (now 54kg) for winning the Listed Wanganui Cup on 1 December 2018. (withdrawn)

 

Mongolian Marshal +2kg (now 55kg) for winning the Group 3 Waikato Cup on 15 December 2018.

 

Please note, this race requires a minimum top weight of 59kg at acceptance time. As such, all horses will have their weight raised (by the same amount) to achieve this minimum.
