The race meeting on Saturday 24 March will now be conducted at the Matamata Racecourse, which includes the Group 2 Windsor Park Trophy. As a result of this venue change the scheduled 2100m races will reduce to 2000m.

This change has necessitated the trials scheduled for Matamata on Tuesday 20 March to be transferred to Taupo.
