Counties RC Saturday 26 May – ABANDONED

The Counties RC race meeting 26 May has been abandoned.

The track was inspected by the Racing Integrity Unit staff, Senior jockeys, Trainers and Club representatives at 4.30pm on Friday 25 May.  It was evident that the recent deluge of rainfall has created inconsistencies in the track and the racing surface would not recover in time to be raced on.

Options as to whether to move the running rail were considered but it was decided this would not be enough to allow the race meeting to proceed.
