Racing Taupo
Racing Taupo, a TRAC club, holds four annual meetings - An Industry Day in August, Spring Marquee Meetings in August, September and October, and the Summer meeting in December which is part of Interislander Summer Fesitval. Taupo's Centennial Park racecourse is renowned for its ability to provide a consistent galloping surface leading up to major spring racing and, accordingly, attracts many high-profile and well-bred horses which commence their campaigns at the Spring Marquee Meeting. There are no permanent grandstands at the course but a natural bank running the length of the track provides excellent viewing. Marquees are erected at all meetings to provide shelter from sun or adverse weather conditions.
Membership: August to July - Annual subscription $46.00 (Inc. GST)
New membership is welcomed throughout the year by contacting the Secretary.
Membership privileges include entry and facility use at all Taupo Meetings and at our cohorts of Racing Rotorua and Racing Te Aroha and reciprocal rights to Matamata, Tauranga and Ellerslie.
