Racing Rotorua

Racing Rotorua (part of the TRAC group) has raced at Arawa Park for over 100 years and has a proud association with Rotorua and the surrounding districts, with its racecourse uniquely placed in the heart of Rotorua, minutes from Hotels, Motels and the City's vibrant café scene. The Club is known for its hospitality and friendliness to visiting owners and trainers, and to overseas visitors who take the opportunity to enjoy the racing and facilities while on holiday in NZ’s “tourism capital” of Rotorua.  The club boasts an excellent level of lounges, bar and betting facilities, with all patrons having free access to the main grandstand area.

Membership: Annual subscription $75.00.  Includes:

• Reciprocal rights with the TRAC’s partner Clubs (Racing Taupo, Racing Tauranga, Racing Te Aroha and Racing Thames) allowing free entry to 40 meetings across five different venues.
• Racing Rotorua offers an extension to its membership structure, known as the Classic Club.  For $122.67 (which includes the standard membership), Classic Club Members take part in daily raceday draws of $500, enjoy restaurant discounts and a Grand Finale function each season.

Currently, General Admission is FREE (except on the 27th of December), along with parking.
The TAB provides EFTPOS (Credit Cards NOT useable) in the main public lounges and from the Secretary’s office. Food is available from the Public Café next to the secretary’s office as well as from various vendors (eg; Coffee To Go)
