Two time Group 1 winner Who Shot Thebarman has been officially retired after his 7th place finish in Saturday’s Zipping Classic. 

New Zealand Bred started his racing career with Mark Oulaghan winning the Auckland Cup before being transferred to Chris Waller. 

He raced in the Melbourne Cup four times finishing third in 2014.

Owned by the O’Leary brothers.  They are not sure where he will retire.  He could come back to New Zealand or go to a home for retired stars near Melbourne.

Who Shot Thebarman had 57 career starts for 11 wins and winning 4.5 million in prize money.
