For the past decade James Lilburne has been a Director and driver for Premier Horse Transport.
James grew up on a NZ Thoroughbred Stud Farm which at that time was managed by his father, his mother an experienced horsewomen trains in her own right, and James grew up in that environment, himself riding show classes and enjoying the Hunting season. He has always had involvement with horses.
An occupation as a fulltime truck driver grew into the business Premier Horse Transport.
Three horse transporters are available, all drivers have experience and knowledge of the equine industry.
Individual care and attention to detail of your equine, whether it be race horses, mares, foals and pony club mounts takes a high priority.
Transporters
Each of the three vehicles has a 5 star rating ( this is the new measure introduced in the transport industry via Vehicle Testing NZ). This is your guarantee that vehicles are well maintained, serviced and above all safe at all times.
Equine Safety and Comfort is the companies logo, each vehicle is designed for comfort and safety including onboard cameras providing views from the horse compartment boxes to the driver.
Clientele
Based in the Auckland and Waikato regions, Premier Horse Transport’s clients include some of NZ’s most successful equine breeding and racing operations including Westbury Stud, a New Caledonian Jumping team for the NZ show circuit, and transporting the Pony Club Champs teams around the country. Transportation to and from Auckland Airport is also another important role the company undertakes.
