The 17 acre property has everything one needs to train, boxes and large paddocks, to accommodate the 12 horses that we regularly have in work. One of the benefits of our coastal location in New Plymouth is the option to train the horses on either the track or the beach. The horses love the variety and thrive in this environment.
Breaking | Pre - Racing Development | Syndicates
Breaking in still remains a large part of the operations. Furthermore, we actively purchase horses from the Karaka Weanling and Yearling Sales, many of which are then syndicated out to past, present and new owners.* We also have tremendous support from breeders who send horses directly to us to train.

About ‘Bryce Revell’
Now 46 years old, Bryce was fortunate to start out as a jumps jockey with that renowned trainer of jumping horses, John Wheeler. His apprenticeship highlights included winning the 1993 Great Eastern Steeplechase at Oakbank, the first Oakbank win for John Wheeler.
Bryce brings considerable experience and knowledge of the thoroughbred racing industry to his training establishment - gained through a stint working with horses in Japan, before returning to the Wheeler stables, and then working with another of NZ’s great trainers, Kevin Gray (who at that time was based at Waverley).
In 1997, Bryce and his partner returned to Japan where they worked with horses, providing breaking in and agistment services. Almost 3 years later he returned to New Zealand and purchased a 17 acre property in New Plymouth, gaining his Class A Public Trainers Licence and setting up his training establishment from where he trains today.

Ekstreme - Winner of 7 including totalling stakes of over $400k, including:
Group 2 Travis Stakes
Groups 2 Cal Isuzu Stakes
Group 1 Captain Cook
The NZ Bloodstock Premier and the Group3 Lowland Stakes.
I Am Sam - Winner of 11 races totaling $256k, including 1 Listed and 5 Premier.
All In Tempo - 4 Wins, included 2 Premiers total stake winner of nearly $90k
Second Time Lucky - 2 Wins included a Listed, and multiple placed, total stakes $85k
